Thanks everyone for the well wishes!! I am very excited about my new Mango tree and I really hope it does well.
Sorry I missed you Rob.. Tom was a very gracious host. I really enjoyed the grand tour and the taste test as well.
Tntrobbie...I did not taste the carambola (I'm actually not a big fan of the star apple). I tried some jujubes, citrus and jaboticaba.
Gary, it is pretty cool to belong to the "maha club"
Harry, that is one NICE looking Maha tree...Wow!!
Mangodan, thanks for your help!
Nat, you and Mangomandan are so lucky to live close to Excalibur...actually maybe I should be glad I live so far away or I'll be there every week and my hubby wouldn't be too happy,lol...
John51, I didn't go anywhere else...it was a pretty long drive...about 5 hours round trip!
Thanks JF, Invar69...
Adam are you planning on getting one from Zill's when they have them?
Rob, I was planning on putting this in a
slightly bigger pot...would you recommend I put a little of the 8-3-9 fertilizer when I do or wait until Spring? Or should I let it bel for a few months, I'm not very familiar with this type of pot you guys have it in and not sure how often to water it...though Tom said you guys water it every day. I'm afraid of root rot since we hare slightly cooler than you guys.. I also purchased a 50 lb bag of their fertilizer (great price too)! Thanks for your help!!
I will let you guys know if its new growths or blooms once I know...
