In my experience, after eating the durian fruits, if the seeds were cleaned pretty well then rolled up in moist (not wet) folded paper towels and placed in a zip top bag they were fine. A couple of nights later, before leaving, the seeds received another thorough cleaning with water to remove any remaining flesh. Then they were rolled up in a clean moist folded paper towel, placed in a clean zip top bag and I squeezed all the air out. That zip top into another and squeeze the air out, box it up with some crumpled news paper, add import papers and mail them off. Rolling them up in the moist paper towels adds extra padding in case they sprout. I've seen them last 9+ days like this out of the fruit and in the mail and they probably could have taken more. Upon arrival the were just starting to sprout and this is during warm weather. Dont try to put too many seeds into one zip top bag, maybe just 4-6 per quart size, adding too many will cause excess moisture and most likely rot.
Good luck!
