Roselle types and cultivars
« on: October 22, 2018, 08:34:37 AM »
I am looking for some good online resources, or your personal experience, on different Roselle types andtgeircalyx form, color taste etc.

I see some.studies.done on  various types, but Google the name not much information.  This  will be our third year growing and we are looking to  select and try breeding improved types.

Currently we are growing 7 distinct types from Taiwan, Thailand and Malaysia. Next year we  will ha e an experimental field to plant .out new types for observation and pollen donors :)

Would love to see what all people are or have grown, as it is the season.

Ask the folks in Jamaica they have some good ones. They call it Sorrel. The document and videos discuss varieties.
