Help Diagnose my Jackfruit Tree Leave Problem :(
« on: May 28, 2012, 06:31:14 PM »
This Mai-3 Jackfruit Tree was purchased in a 25 Gallon container at Excalibur 2 months ago, and has been in the ground ever since. It gets a Ton of Sunlight, is watered regularly (including the recent Drenching Rain in South Florida), and 2 weeks ago I fertilized it for the first time. Over the past 5-6 days, leaves have been turning yellow-orange and dropping fast. The leaves do get some black on them. Literally in the last 24 hours, 12-15 Green Leaves turned yellow with black around the edges and are dropping. It's happening at an alarming pace. What is this and what do I do?

My Mai I tree is doing the same at a smaller scale.  I have a few on my 2 year old Golden Nugget too.

For awhile, it was sparse. Lately green leaves are turning orange overnight and dropping..
