What is this lemon leaf trying to tell me?
« on: March 09, 2019, 07:09:36 PM »
Some of my citrus trees have some leaves that look like this. About one out of ten trees, and about 10% of the leaves.
Should I treat them with something?  They are all either blooming or setting on fruit.
They are in pots, and get Miracle Gro and Osmocote Plus. I just ordered some Citrus Nutritional Spray, which I use when they are blooming/setting fruit.

Any thoughts would help!
Thanks!

Carolyn

Just an old leaf.  A citrus leaf has a life span of approximately 18 - 20 months. When a leaf is no longer able to carry out all that is demanded by the tree it is quickly discarded.  There is no welfare program for old leaves.  For citrus trees the time of greatest leaf fall is during the tree's blooming period.
