First crop off Angie tree, thought i was gonna be able to eat them all off the tree but a squirrel or rat ate half the second one, angie seems to have very small window for peak flavor

Easy to start and easy to kill, all about having fast draining soil, also ina pot best to let it get root bound a little before stepping up. Ive killed a couple all from heavy soil and too much water

Take better pictures. leaf, fruit, seed, bark, trunk, leaf arrangement on stem, underside topside of leaf, smell when crushed, sap. Those are the sort of info needed.

think i planted mine too close, tipping is not controlling their size,  maybe good Pruning on half every other year and letting the other half fruit will be best?

Dog been keeping squirrlies outta yard but come nighttime and we have rats that come out on the hunt, here is what has been working for me to catch them.

Two small game traps set in small box. Bait with oatmeal


Then to finish the it off one bb pellet to the dome piece. Fast and humane

This young jakfruit tree planted on native grounds went through about 5 days of standing water last summer being its fist year in ground and had no signs of issue. But i know of someone who lost their young jakfruits to standing water that lasted more than a week

Not sure how well it will do in cali weather but here in florida pickering mango is a top choice Cultivar for container growing.

Sugar apples and atemoya’s do great in containers, delicious fruit and quick to bear make them some  of the best fruit trees to grow in florida

Here it has been cut too much off the mango trees and they skip flowering that year. Im trying to learn the balance of maintaining size while not jeopardizing production...

No rush to plant the tree so you still have time to research sure. If i was you i would go to great extents to amend the soil to be fluffy and well draining.

For my tuba’s I mixed fertilizer with soil( azomite, mycorrhizae, bone and blood meal,) and feed via the roots with fish fertilizer and liquid kelp.
