when should I harvest our chirimoya?
« on: May 18, 2018, 09:54:56 AM »
When to harvest cherimoya? (Annona cherimola) Does anyone knows?. It has been changing color to a more yellowish or clear tone; It is still hard to the touch and does not detach if I try to pull it out ...

it has black dots that I suppose are some disease or fruit fly bite. It is the first time that our tree bears fruit, it is about 4 or 5 years old.

When the Fruit turns from green to a more yellowish color, it’s usually ready. You can also gently shake the fruit and if you hear seeds rattling inside, it’s another indication it’s ready. You should write down this date so you have an idea when your Fruit will be ready next year. Let us know how tastes.
