I can attest to high calorie content in durians. Came back from one adventure in Thailand feasting on durians and weighed 20 pounds more than when i left!  :o
Common misconception about cholesterol: durian has no cholesterol because there is not a single fruit, vegetable, seed, nut or grain, that has cholesterol. Cholesterol is ONLY contained in animal products.
