Tropical Fruit Discussion / Hello
« on: November 29, 2019, 06:55:25 AM »
Hi all, I have not posted or been on this forum for a few years. When Hurricane Irma hit in 2017 it washed away all my trees. When I returned there was nothing left but a stump from my breadfruit tree that someone cut down and a small patch of Saba bananas. It has taken me a few years to rebuild my house but now that I am finished I am starting again.

« on: July 30, 2015, 11:20:52 AM »
I went to England for 2 weeks, Holland for one, and New York for a week, seen a lot of amazing gardens in England, but the coolest place I went to there was the Eden project ( www.edenproject.com) It's a huge greenhouse in Cornwall. There were tons of tropical fruit trees growing and flowering. They had bananas, mangoes, jabotacabas, papayas, annonas, and lots more that I cant remember right now.

« on: October 20, 2013, 06:45:44 PM »
Does anyone else mulch there trees with seaweed? i wash it a few (3-5) times and add it to my compost and make seaweed emulsion by filling a trashcan 3/4 of the way with washed seaweed and then fill it with water and let it sit for a month,  stirring every other day of so until it is mostly liquid. then water the plants with it.
