Katuck and rheedia fruiting

Checking the containers found two trees fruiting katuck and rheedia laterfilora or Garcina laterfilora

Fantastic!  How old are these trees?

The katuck one and half about four feet. Rheedia about four years three feet in seven gallons

I love the flavor of katuk, don't you. Yours looks like it might be happier with a little more shade.

The leaves have a peanut flavor have not tasted the fruit yet.I don't have any shade  for the containers that aren't cold hardy. I saw how you spelled katuk

The flowers have a mushroom taste and the fruits are sort of bland with mushroom overtones. I think of this plant as a perennial vegetable.
