I thi k thats Mickey just trying to sell trees.  Any time I gear "condo mango" used, I become very skeptical.   Its a poorly used phrase/term.

There is no way to make any statement that the tree is slow growing based on a recently purchased 3 gal.  Stick it in the ground, water and fertilize it, and report back in a year on status.

About the only way you can maintain any tree in a compact form is by shortening the internodes with a PGR, pruning and training.  Indians have been using Bonzi (Paclobutrazol) for years on mango orchards.  I'm using it on a Lemon Zest.  EPA does not label it for use on edibles.
