In a recent trip.to Thailand I bought these Salacca fruit in a Bangkok market. Now al the seeds are germinating here in Uganda. Can anyone identify which species they are from this photo? Thank you.

Looks to be salacca wallichiana.

It is Salacca wallichiana var sumalee.

It says sweet sala sumalee on the board. That's how I mentioned.

I am in Uganda at about 1000m above sea level and about 3’ Latitude so I hope that I will be able to get them to fruit.
