I think those are Ford mangoes if I'm correct.

Good memory, Alexi.  I did post this shot of Noel back on GW some time back.  These mangoes are obviously large and their best characteristic is that they are large.  Probably excellent for chutney and the like. Unfortunately, they are  not all that good for eating out of hand.

Thanks Harry. I think I've read once that Ford mangoes also have a tendency to split. I wonder if crossing ford with a fantastic mango would result in a large good-quality mango.  :)
