Title: Getting the smaller seedling to survive (polyembryonic)

Hi all.

This is my first year venturing into citrus fruits (and exotics in general).

I've noticed and read the smaller plants from polyembryonic seeds often tend to die. Why's that?

Is there anyway to rescue these lil fellas? I know embryo rescue is mentioned but I currently don't have the means/knowledge of doing that at home for the latest set of seeds I just got. (Perhaps in the future! Feel free to post tutorials lol)

My idea so far is separate them early and send them to the ITLCU (intensive tender love and care unit) with a heating map and lamp.

I just separate them when big enough to put in a bigger pot and most of my seedlings flourish in the long run even if they started out smaller. I just put the potted seedlings in a window facing south and water once a week in winter. In spring I put the plants outside and pot them up as they get bigger.

Sounds good! i'll be overwintering quite a few plants so should be easy to keep an eye on them :)
