Do Annonidium mannii seeds need any special treatment for sprouting?

I planted 10 seeds from Trade Winds and with in 2 months, 8 of them grew many roots but no shoots. About 2 months later all 8 have shoots and look healthy. No treatment was done before planting, but they were kept in a warm greenhouse.
