Blended up some fruit the other day and it was delicious! Tasted like mangoes dipped in chocolate.
3 large black sapote (fully ripe, oozing from the bottom)
2 mangoes
1/4 of a pineapple
1-2 oz. coconut milk (optional)
4 tablespoons honey
2-3 ripe bananas
Probably could add some cacao nibs or cocoa powder, but I didn't use either.
Blend until smoothie. The finished product is thick, brown, and smells amazing!

That will make one heck of a super size smoothie.

yeah, serves 3-4 ;)

You would need to be pretty hard core to slug all of that back on your own. I might give it a whirl.
By the way there is a true chocolate persimmon (Diospyros kaki) with dark flesh like a black sapote but has orange skin. Maybe it is a hybrid.

I usually just fill up the blender, and pour into cups....I drink a couple and leave the rest for the wife, or in a mason jar for the next morning. I have a problem making small smoothies--even when i try the blender always ends up full ;D

upon checking the freezer, it seems that I forgot that I didn't use all the black sapote....so it was more like 1 1/2 to 2 large black sapotes....still filled the blender, but not 3 BS. sorry.
