Picked Very last Mango Francis Hargrave..

Just picked this nice size FH Mango , smells dam good , I hope it taste good, I Belive the prior FH I picked where picked To early they tasted awfull ..

I started to Top Work my FH tree , If this one taste good I will leav3 a few FH branches .

I ate the last Angie today.  It was still a little green because a squirrel had started in on it.  Flavor is much different when underripe.  More of a standard mango flavor.  I also picked the last two Pickerings although they were still green. I didn’t want the critters to get them, too!

Lack of rain made mangoes more sweet. But season is kind of short. Most of the mangoes are done and blue jays working hard finish all the mangoes and the mango season.

I sure got a lot of mileage out of Angie and Pickering—2 months!  I still have Maha and Honey Kiss.

Funny that the birds in SoCal haven't learned that mangoes are edible.

Our mango season should start in a month.
