We have Calypso mango in Dubai. It's not a bad mango, but it's a little bland. Possibly pick too early.

Andrew, just get both!
Too bad its rare to find fresh Sapodilla fruit in the markets here. There is a strong demand for them.
Samu, nice looking tree. That’s good to know about the Hasya.
If anyone knows where I can get a Gigantea Sapodilla, please pm me. I don’t even know what it tastes like or if it’s productive, I assume not with such a large fruit, but it would be nice as a conversation piece for Sapodilla lovers. I’d love to get a Sapodilla that’s as big as a mamey sapote.

Is there certain rootstock that can cause this?I have the same problem with a sweetheartThat sounds very suspicious. I have 10 of this variety (Sweet Tart) and they are among the more vigorous upright growers, as mentioned previously by others.
Only my tree hasn't flushed in 2 1/2 years?
I cut 10 mangos off it the past 2 years so it would grow and it's not even 3 feet
and won't flush??? I would guess your two trees are developing roots now?
One year has seen 4-5 flushes and growth above 4 feet from a 3 gallon. Tall enough I harvested scions. Maybe there is a defect in the root system?
Maybe I should grow up some turpentine seedlings and graft onto it some of these scions.
It is a puny tree and sets ten fruit 2 years in a row? It is 15-20 feet from an oak. Maybe I should move it?
Sorry mugenia if I stole your post, I think someone answered your issue as far as temps?
If you want me to start a new post I will?
Become acclimated and dress with evaporative clothing, take breaks for cooling and hydration this chart helps monitor hydration. It took me about seven years to become truly acclimated after moving from California. I know people who didn't wait that long and left. Also, there were no mosquitoes in L.A.!
There is mosquitoes now and it's all year around. Nasty lil ankle biters that hits and comes back for more!
Nice. My dad also has small Ficus auriculata tree. The fruit and leaves are edible.
The fruits (figs) are tough if raw, but the inside layer, when ripe is sweet and honey-like.
Here is another ficus I grow, Ficus dammaropsis. Also with edible fruits and leaves.
