Japanese strawberries
« on: July 11, 2020, 08:35:13 PM »
Hi guys,  Newbie to both this forums and the hobby. I was looking for Japanese strawberry for my garden(i.e. momoichigo) but can't find anything. I saw a guy selling seeds on etsy but they don't ship to USA. Are there any specific laws for strawberry or is this for all the seeds in general? Is there a way around this or anyone has seeds or tree for sales?

I've seen them for sale at the Japanese markets, even fruit from Saga!

I have seen fresh fruits at tokyo central in costa mesa once. Wasn't into garden then so I didn't even think about snatching them for seeds. I looked at etsy and there're 2 sellers one that has more reviews but don't ship from canada to USA. The other one from australia with less/worse reviews but does ship here so I bought it. Finger cross. It's quite a bit too 500 seeds each variety so if it works I might be sharing some here.
