Pot to big?
«

I need to move these 2 trees I bought into different pots within the next month before it gets really hot. It can reach 110- 114 here by the second week in June and I don’t want to fry the roots. Are these pots combine with Laaz’s 50/50 Pot mixture to big or should I pick a smaller pot (what size) or paint the pots they are in white?

Those pots looks a little too big. I would either paint the nursery pots white or set them inside the other pots to block the sunlight. Maybe fill the void with some mulch or sand

As Brian said, paint the pots white. I would not place them in another pot unless the other pot was white. At any rate, do not fill in the void with anything because the filler will conduct heat from outer pot to inner pot.
