Hello everyone....it's Noel...aka FloridaGreenMan
It's going to be 50 degrees tonight so I have my ultra-tropicals in the garage. Sound like this is going to be the FORUM of choice from here onwards!

Welcome aboard! I've done the same with my ultras, and my "Ramos Abiu"!

Hey Noel,
Thanks for joining. It would be great if you could post some pics of your yard. Show off your awesome sugar apples and abius. I bet most people don't realize abius can be so productive here in South Florida. It may just be your varieties though.
-
:-) What up, Noel. Them marissa abius are choice, eh?

Welcome! :)

Miss this thread, introductions are important. This is a nice change of pace with the same serious posters. What are we going to discuss here that we didn't cover in GW? I'm here to look at pics and from time to time post some of my own. get answers to problems that I might run into. Other than that I'm not an expert in any subject I come for answer and when I'm bored.

I am glad I found Noel in this forum. I have a biriba (rollinia deliciosa) seedling that came from Noel's tree. My seedling is almost 5 feet tall and is already flowering in a large pot. Noel how big the fruit gets?. Is your biriba a variety called Humongous? I appreciate any input from you! Thank you!

Be there or be square!

We got to get MangoDog and a few of the others Californians to register.

I call my Rollinia the Amazon Giant. There are about 8 or 10 on my tree right now! They are not huge but around one to two pounds each. The ones in the photo were over 5lbs each

Will you look at the size of the Rollinias on that guy! (sounds like something you'd hear in Bangkok)

Nice shiny new forum with that great new forum smell. Hello to all you folks glad to see everyone has made it here, what an improvement. So long as you guys block that Sheehan guy from joining this place can remain respectable.

Noel,
Thank you so much! They are beautiful! Fantastic fruits! I will plant my Amazon Giant seedling in March. Currenly, I got a couple flowers on my seedling. The 15 gallon pot is inside my plastic greenhouse, and I keep the minimum temp. around 60 F.
