Hello everyone.
Beginning the year with the presentation of a very rare wild plinia of Brazil. Plinia Peruviana, fruits collected at an altitude of 700 m, purple fruits, sides, with creases in the bark that remind me of the cambuca, caulifloros, lightly beige pulp, very sweet, containing one or two seeds inside, similar to regular jabuticabas.
I am dedicating myself to the collection of wild species of plinias and myrciarias, the intention is to preserve these species and verify the conditions of cultivation.
Alexandre.

Very impressive Alexandre! I've never heard of it before. Some "necks" are strong enough to support the fruits whose color is very nice. Very beautiful!

Yes Sytanta, the fruit is very beautiful and has great flavor, I will try to cultivate to verify if the qualities of the fruit improve.
Soon I must confirm the ID of another 2 or 3 types of wild Plinias !,
Work goes on!

Very intersting! What is the average size of those P. peruviana fruits?

Hello oscar
Between 2.4 and 3 cm, I think if you cultivate the species, there may be an increase in the amount of pulp. The taste is very good, can be a good species for cultivation.
