I might have a few available soon. My pineapple annona, which by many accounts is a. glabra, has a nice fruit going on it, maybe more. Not sure how many seeds per fruit these usually have, or how long till it is ripe (currently around baseball size), but if you are interested will keep you in mind and let you know.

Are you planning to use them for rootstock?

Yeah, I don't think they work out that great as rootstock anyway. Cool, whatever glabra plans you have in mind, hope to help you out.

I am in Palm Beach and Broward County this weekend, and will check the wild trees along my running route.  They were loaded with fruit at the beginning of June.

The few times I picked fruit that I thought would ripen off the tree they just turned black. Try to take them off the tree when they color up.

I managed to get into a small mature stand of wild pond apple trees this past weekend in Lake Worth. Once I climbed up into the canopy I was greeted by countless iguanas feasting on the pond apples. Picked about a dozen nicely colored up fruit.  I know out of hand they are not tasty but I would bet adding the juice to a margarita or some other beverage would be awesome. Got plenty of seeds if anyone is still looking.

You should post pics of your fruit and let me know how they taste.

Just got home today and found the lone fruit lying on the ground split open. The ants like it. Yellow goldfish pulp, smells sweet, somewhat familiar. Was tempted to try it.
