Now im stuck in Putussibau. Boatmen want up to 1000us S for a 100 km trip upriver so i think they just consider it too dangerous now.1000 usd is too expensive, maybe just because you are foreigner and have no local friend.
Do you have a list of your Muara Teweh fruit? Would be very interesting.
i have three willughbeias unidentifiedNo coriacea in Muara Teweh.
Same with me. But the common one on Muara Teweh market, is it coriacea or sarawacensis or another one? And i tried to go deeper. Got struck at camp 66 living with the bridge repair team in a hut for 4 days while they waited for the buldozer repair crew😂, then i had to do a visa run🙄
looking for Mangifera pajangI'll try to search
John

Yes you guys are right. The number 54, that you don't know what it is, seems to be some kind of Pouteria Sp.Yes, i agree with Grapebush. The buah nyatu, unidentified fruit, looks like something in sapotaceae family. The seeds look like sapote seeds. Are there any native types of sapotes in your area?
The seeds look a lot like Pouteria seeds, and also the fruit morfology it's very close to this genus.
Did you noticed any latex on the plant?
