Just curious since I don't have anything to graft to, just planted the seeds few days ago.
How long does it take to fruit if you graft it?

Hi Cristiano, that is a good question as is a new species and most people just start grafting last year, but I would say it would speed up fruiting time considerably but most important is to be sure your tree would set high amounts of fruit versus male seedlings or not self fertile trees like the one majority in the wild...

I guess so, however most people don't have it, of course there's always confiscation risk associated, last year I sent many, nobody send me a phyto to attach...

Hi
Is it compatible to G. Xanthochymus?
How long is the shipping time with EMS to Europe if you know?
Can you estimate the shipping cost in advance for a few scions?

Hi Mike, not experience with Xantochimus, EMS will be around 2/3 weeks to Greece I would say so, and for 10 or less around 33 usd

Shape of seed you can see the difference from left to right first the long narrow Sharpie 2,then the larger "Jumbo" and finally the small oval one's of the regular fruits

How much be shipping?

Are any of the cultivars listed above productive? My seedling produced 1 fruit out of about 50 flowers :-).

Well that's no surprise. Achachairu is a New World mangosteen (ex Rheedia) like Mexican mangosteen.

Hi Jeff, that's why it important to graft with a productive variety, in the wild adult trees only about 30 % or less have fruit....for these premium types trees, I only selected 5 out of hundreds,   Scions are over  now as is the end of dry season, I'll advertise again in September.
