Is aquatica still considered poisonous?

Tropical Fruit Discussion / Re: CUT NUT TREE (Barringtonia edulis)

Does anyone know what is the lowest temperature this tree can tolerate? I grow several palms from those islands, hoping it can grow where I am.

I have 3 cut nut. They will lose leaves when it gets cold.
I think zone 10a is the limit as long as it doesn't get real cold.

so I mean, like u know, does anyone grow this plant?
A friend gave me some seeds and I'm getting ready to grow some...reminds me of Rollinia by looking at seeds and pics of fruit...

and the fruits in pics looks small, but maybe they are tasty? and easy to grow for some reason?  Hoping this species is worth trying to fruit!

Adam I finally got a fruit from the Rollinia I got from you around 2016 and it seems to fit the description of Annona edulis. Great tasting small fruit but no hint of lemon.

Just bought one, anyone growing it or tried it before.

How did your cut nut end up doing.
I have a couple in
Loxahatchee for a year that are slow growing but still alive.

Tropical Fruit Discussion / Re: Can Gac be grown from cuttings ?
« on: November 17, 2018, 06:59:38 PM »
I planted 10 Gac seeds and only one sprouted I kept the vine growing in the pot and set it next to a tree to climb
I know you need male and female vines and I planned on getting more seeds but kinda just let the vine go but it went below freezing a few hours recently (I'm in northeast Florida) and it didn't bother the vine at all so it encouraged me to tend to it more so I took it out of the pot and planted it in the ground at the base of the tree

What’s the status of your gac?
Some of mine finally started to have fruit but a bunch died I think because of over watering.
I have more I need to check the sex of and try to root cuttings of the females.

I am also in Florida.

When a Monroe avocado gets ready to flower it can lose its leaves.
Mine does so every year and scares me until I do a little research......forget the memory thing.

Adam any updates on the Lingaro?
The one I got from you has been slowly but steadily growing.

You can shock it into fruiting by "girdling" the trunk.
