Differences between Passionfruit Varieties?
« on: April 12, 2019, 06:11:57 PM »
I was looking to build a collection of less-common passion fruit vines.

There must be  a bunch of great varieties right?

In this thread I wrote about a few of the ones I've grown:

I think there are a lot of interesting Passifloras that we can grow in California, and hope we continue to try new species and varieties.  There are also some new, unusual hybrids that have been bred by Passiflora collectors, and I hope to try some of those out someday.

I think you might be able to grow granadilla since it's a highland fruit that likes cooler temperatures and low humidity
