Will the real Chokanan please stand up?

Chris mentioned in a recent Truly Tropical video that what we know as Chokanan is actually a seedling version of the original, which is larger and tastes different. Has anyone had an "original" and if so, how was it? (Thanks to the generosity of Orkine, I was able to graft Chokanan onto my Ice Cream tree😊)
