We got heavy wind yesterday and I lost 3/4th of my plots :(
Is there something I can do to prevent that or is this just a random occurance? I also lost some branches on my persimmon and plot trees. Very abnormal wind yesterday :(

plant some wind break trees can help with evaporation too less watering

I lost 99% + of my Pluots and other stone fruit last year. Put them in the ground. The trees will hold onto fruit better assuming your current trees are in pots. If in the ground, is the tree mature or recently planted? Well branched? Is theee anything to break the wind including larger branches?

It's in the ground, I believe it's the second on third year producing. I think it was just a freak wind incident. I've only dropped one since that day. Last year I had about a dozen fruits on it, none dropped.

Some survived, I've never actually had a pluot 'til today. They were soft, and I don't know the variety.
They're good, not great. Am I not letting them ripen enough?

Not sure
When I pick mine they are firm but yielding with nice color, good plum like texture and full of flavor. Splash is my favorite. Waiting for other Pluto’s to ripen this year. My stone fruit are all late this year (compared to last year which was my first year with them)
Fantastic flavor from what I recall.
