Do Geffners defoliate?
« on: February 06, 2019, 12:35:11 AM »
Not sure if my geffner is having an issue or just defoliated this winter.  Do they defoliat?

It’s on high ground but very near a sprinkler. Maybe too much water?

Any thoughts appreciated

Atemoyas should defoliate in mid to late winter.

Totally normal as Har said. I will be heavily pruning and stripping all the leaves off my atemoyas a A. squamosas in 2 or 3 weeks here in Sarasota and also in West Bradenton, FL. I am going to be fertilizing with soft organics and mulching as well.

It is looking like we are out of the woods as far as any more cold snaps. What a relief!
