Where to buy 3 way conduit connectors
« on: June 18, 2020, 01:59:55 AM »
Hi All,

I am live close to LA, California area.  I heard swap meet sell the 3 ways conduit connectors and some Asian 99 cents store as well.  Does anyone know where I can find them around the area?

Thanks,
Al

Similar, but I am looking for the metal one.  I want to build a grape trellis with them.
Here is the YouTube link someone used it to build the trellis.

Thanks,

Maybe the sensible thing would either be for you to use Google or pick up the phone to call places in your area...oh wait, it is easier to have someone else do the work for you.  ::)

Hi bsbullie,

Thanks for your comment.  I did went to couple of the swap meet around my area.  No one is selling.  I just want to see anyone around the area know a specific location that might have it.  So that save me couple of trips.

Thanks,
Al

if that was electrical conduit she was using in the video check with an electrical supply co. in your area. they probably will not look the same but may have something that will work. I know home depot sells pvc pipe fittings like that if you want to use plastic instead of metal.

anyway, these look like what she was using: https://www.amazon.com/FLAT-CORNER-CANOPY-FITTINGS-BATTING/dp/B06WD8CGRL/ref=pd_sbs_86_4/131-2667121-0409115?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B06WD8CGRL&pd_rd_r=579ccb3e-8a29-4339-bf9f-9607da59cd27&pd_rd_w=IQaIs&pd_rd_wg=X3ZIF&pf_rd_p=bdc67ba8-ab69-42ee-b8d8-8f5336b36a83&pf_rd_r=NTQZEA3FHC4426WG9SKT&psc=1&refRID=NTQZEA3FHC4426WG9SKT

just search for "canopy kits" in amazon.

Thanks everyone for help.  I am looking for local swap meet and 99 cents stores only.  I did the online search and some local swap meet before I posted help here.  If not people online said it is cheaper to buy from local swap meet, I purchase them online already.  I need around 15 of them including other connectors.  I want build a trellis that can cover my back yard.  That is my goal.

Bought some connectors from ysbw.com, and they have held well for a couple of years in my planter bed trellises. The screw type fasteners are beginning to rust a bit though now.

I will piggyback on your question :) Currently as I work on expanding the trellises, I am looking for a new type of pipe connector like the ones used in this video - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_pMhx_ZpkCQ&feature=youtu.be&t=165 If anyone is aware of the name/where one can purchase these wire bending clamps, it will be greatly appreciated. TIA.

I have 2 big trellices like that made from 2 inch galvanised pipes and drilling rods( from oil rigs).
They are welded and strong but be carefull if you weld galvanised steel because the yellow ,heavy smoke its deadly.
Its heavy,no big deal,i weld it all the time without a respirator ,but you dont want to be lower than the weld or otther person or animal that could fall on it and breathe it .Kills instantly.

EDIT,the 2 inch pipes my trellices are made are thick steel ,also from drilling rigs and i dont think they were galvanised.
Basically i have 80% of my trellices made from oil rig pipes and full steel rods but inbetween the pipes and rods i have galvanised pipe .
If you use galvanised pipe and your a novice welder, its safer to use bolts than welding it.
