I have a row of citremons and they freeze every year to the ground.
I am in zone 8b! Never saw a flower nor a fruit.

I know there are several cultivars.

I have Citremon from B.Voss since 2004, it is in ground for more than 10 years. It was nearly killed in 2012 after -16C but recovered and now is a huge monster more than 4 m high. The ends of branches are regularly damaged. Fruits are small, lemon scented but with strong poncirus aftertaste and bitterness.
Best regards,
