Just arrived in Beautiful Northern Vietnam...Beautiful City!!!! The Fruit doesnt disappoint either!!!!

Red Pitaya...no where near as sweet as the varieties in the states...  Curious as to what mango variety is this...anyone?

I need to save a fruit budget for my honeymoon next year, I want to go all out and will probably go fruitarian for that two weeks 
Im going to Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam just have to confirm the exact areas it will be!

Durian from a good vendor is the best way! I love when they choose for you, if they cut it and turns out to be no good they'll set it aside and give you a good fruit.

Even when you convert, durian in Malaysia for the better varieties wasn't so cheap. The common variety you could get pretty cheap. I'd bet Vietnam is cheaper, even if you do get the tourist price.

Vietnam have three well known mangoes called " xoai Cac", "Xoai Tuong" , and "xoai Thanh ca".  Show your mango picture to the fruit vendor, they will tell you which one. Look like "Cac" mango, because"Thanh ca" is small as manila mago in states, and "Tuong" is very large.
