Effects of frost damage is not evident for week to 10 days. If you notice drying leaves or shivered up branches, cut them off asap.
Gozp you have unprotected mangoes in high twenties without damage? No overstory trees? Looks like open air. What would you attribute this to?
Do ilamas have a lot of seeds like cherimoyas, or are they less seedy? I liked rollinia for the fact that it has more pulp vs. seeds than cherimoyas.

looks like Grimal is also winning the race on your cocktail tree, but seems like not by much, the growth rate is pretty evenly matched...the tree looks well balanced.

For those who thinks they are buying leftovers, u are not required to buy scions from the seller, its totally an option since most of his varieties cant be bought elsewhere.
Exactly why I stated I won't be purchasing, since this is an open public forum I stated my reasons, if the seller wants to take the feedback for future sales or not its up to him, I am not required to buy luckily as you stated ;-)
FYI Just because something is not available else where does not necessary make it more attractive to most of us, I can justify paying the minimum required amount if I knew I could get 2 or 3 of the varieties I really wanted, but they are sold out. Paying for 4 more wood varieties to get that one is not feasible I wish I was made of money to do that ;-)

Can he approach graft a different rootstock? Would that at least alleviate the problem?
I have tried this but the results were mixed so I don’t recommend it. I would rather start with a rootstock that does perform well here.
For anyone using Abound, make sure you are following the recommendations and not applying it more than you should. Also make sure you are alternating it with other fungicides from a different group so that the organisms don’t build up resistance.
If you’re using this product without knowledge of How to alternate it with fungicides from a different group, you probably shouldn’t be using it. We could be creating superbugs that are resistant to Azoxystrobin.

Not sure if this vetiver but it sows it self on steep bare spots. Its like natures fix for bare hillsides. It also spreads everywhere. Wish my neighbors didnt have it growing. It doesnt need any water and has super strong root system.
You can buy lemongrass seeds. The thing with lemongrass is its tropical and needs water in summer and gets cold damaged in winter. There are better grasses to use for our arid climate but most of them are highly invasive.
