For those who I did not commit to send seeds there are no more left now. I only collected seeds from larger fruits. Even without thinning tree, the fruits are larger then most loquats I have see. Most fruits have 1-2 seeds some have a few more. Flavor is excellent sweet/sour taste. It yields very heavy every 2 years (on the follow years is a lighter yield but still decent amount of fruit production).

Seedling offspring are really close to mother tree and produce in 2-4 years after planting (verified with friend that planted seedling trees that produced fruit).

Thanks, they are as tasty as they look too. I have to see if I can get some samples to give to JF and others (problem is they dont last more then a 3-4 days in the fridge after picking).

Very nice. Any scion wood available?

I'be been collecting varieties recently for my seedling tree. Hopefully fireblight don't kill it. I didn't know it's susceptible.

I believe there is slight variation, the tree produces seedlings and fruit very close to the mother tree. This is my friends tree and he told me he planted a seedling out at his Aunts place. The tree was not different in his eyes in the fruit taste and size from the first crop from last year.

These are heavily planted in my area, are now yellow (end of April), and will be turning orange, within a few weeks. I will collect seeds on request. There are very fat fruit, overhanging a parking lot, across the street from my house.

Hey nullzero, can you get scions off this tree? I have a Gold Nugget seedling that I am looking to graft something onto and this variety looks great!

Isn't guava difficult to graft? I never tried but heard failures from other people. Anyway I'll PM you too.

Any budwood requests would be done after fruiting season is done in June. Budwood would be $4 a piece wrapped in buddy tape + shipping and handling.
