Tehuacan / Victoria Orange?
« on: April 29, 2016, 09:47:45 PM »
Does anybody know of a budwood source of the Tehuacan / Victoria orange in the US? It's a mutation / budsport of a valencia that has absolutely zero acidity. I find it insipid, but my wife loves it. It's very popular in El Salvador, but I haven't seen it yet in the U.S., and I'm afraid to bring back budwood due to the potential for disease transmission.

The last I heard, legally in the state of Florida you are not allowed to propagate any type of citrus at all.  All propagation of citrus in Florida must be done inside a USDA improved insect proof screen house. - Millet

haha so, under that definition it's now illegal for me to toss citrus rinds to the ground, as one might have a seed that spouts -- making me a criminal propagator of controlled citrus :-). That's big brother for you.
