shaded spot: will an uvaia fruit in the shade?

Hi, I have very little space left on the backyard and would like to plant another species... I planted an uvaia 3 years ago in full sun and it seems to suffer.

Now I have a shaded spot below an avocado so I can plant 1 or 2 uvaias.

Will they fruit in the shade?
