cacao just sprouted into vermiculite
« on: November 17, 2016, 10:40:07 AM »
Hi, 8 days and they are sprouting, but I dont have experience with vermiculite

would they be fine for 1 year growing into this soil?

Or should I plant them into another kind of soil?

Vermiculite by itself would not be good. You could mix it with perlite and peat moss, or use  available potting soil

Get them into potting mix. They grow fast.

Ok, thanks, I wonder why vermiculite is not enought and why peat moss would help (I should learn!)
