I can't imagine much of anyone growing either one. Or at least ever fruiting one. Both are large trees. Langsats are ultra-tropical AND they grow 35-50 ft. Doesn't seem like greenhouse material. Santol on the other hand can grow from 50-150 ft.  I'd love to grow both, but having the appropriate space and temperature don't seem very realistic. Especially with all the drastic weather lately. I guess santol would be a bit more realistic, they don't take many years to flower. :P I'd be thrilled to see any of the two fruiting anywhere like California. :)

I'm growing grafted langsat and  santol, 2 varieties actually.
Sweet santol and the sour variety.

They lost all their leaves, but I'm starting to see new growth.
Only my first year keeping them, we'll see if they survive the winter in 9B, if so then we got ourselves a winner!

Picked one up from Mimosa and bought one on ebay a while back.
