It's decent third tier mango like choc anon this one came from a seed from India.

Most seedlings bloom 2-3 years in SoCal. Here is a pix of Parson ( my seedling of Juliette) a first tier mango that bloomed in 2 yrsand fruited in 3yrs.....and this is just one of 5 or 6 that I fruited in 3 years.

I think the reason why this one hasn't rooted is because I have it in a pot and the tree is already about 8 feet

May be, I've only fruited grafted mango in pots. Our cooler winter nights induces bloom on young mangos.

Seems like you have a few seedling trees. You can get known varieties with superior qualities grafted onto some of the branches. You know this already. You should try to get to a mango tasting to see what you like.

One of the trees is 10 years old but it always blooms later on, and the other one is 5 years old from seed
