I use wunderground because there's a station nearby but I have no idea how accurate it is...  That said Google weather is freakishly good at predicting when it will rain...  Within seconds or minutes sometimes and even while driving.

No real preference as many use same data to draw predictions. It's really funny to see a 30 percent chance in 2 days turn into a 90 percent in 1 day as any radar now clearly shows a front heading toward you. Thus probably the most accurate is the one that gives you the forecast the moment before it's occurring lol.

Here's another: http://www.intellicast.com/National/Radar/Forecast.aspx

Many factors in weather. For just wind speed and predicted gusts as it's coming onshore, I like windguru. Lychee growers might like this site if close to the ocean or water.

I like the wave and water surface temperature information also, but not many trees in the ocean that are concerned with that. The wind direction arrow is great to see when a change is expected as most in the northern hemisphere have cooler weather from the north wind and warmer from south, etc.

Click on the knots about 5 times and it changes to various other measurements and finally to mph if you like that parameter. The same with C. to F. by clicking on it a few times.

For national weather tracker, here is the site.   http://www.spc.noaa.gov/

I've used forecasting sites for more than 10 years and found wunderground.com to be most reliable. If you are in coastal areas passageweather.com has great wind forecasts.

Besides the forecasting aspect, i am always looking for a website that keeps the track of the temperatures of the last days, once i found a website that have this feature but i don't find it anymore in my bookmarked pages. I think it is very useful feature to look back afterwards and see which low temperatures did the tree withstand.
