I've noticed that blooms panicles tend to have a rapid push and then pause. they look knobby almost. not sure how large your tree is. flowering/fruiting takes a lot of energy, which will slow down the trees growth in size. typically for smaller trees and young trees you should consider pruning blooms so the tree can concentrate on developing a heathy canopy and root system
