That's what I thought too when pumpkin description came up. Even than I think pedalai can be greatly variable. Philippine pedalai looks noticeblly different from Borneo ones.  Fruits are a lot more hairy, and flesh has clean white color unlike those from Borneo.

Thank you for the picture. This looks more like artocarpus elasticus, another lesser posibility artocarpus tamaran. Regardless, it sounds like an awesome fruit  :).
I specifically wanted additional pedalai for ornamental purpose.

Lol. That just means you will have a pretty and proper gravestone in the dead seed's germination media. jk :P

At least with them there is no changing of hands before getting to you as is the case occasionally...time wasted can make a HUGE difference with recalcitrant seeds, especially if they are not cleaned properly and sent by the fistfull in the same bag.

They seem to cut out middle men. :)
