though ma scions do look pretty darn healthy right now,and it looks like they are starting to push, swollen buds and all

As you were informed in the other thread, swollen buds and pushing growth after 2 weeks does not mean the grafts took.  It could just be from the stored energy when the budwood was harvested.  Maybe they will take and be auccessful but its too soon to know.
