ID passiflora species please
« on: April 14, 2017, 08:53:08 PM »
Hello, I found this lovely passiflora species growing in my yard wildly. I was wondering what kind it is and whether the fruit is worth eating or not. Thanks, Matt

It looks like Passiflora caerulea.  Most likely the full species by the look of the leaves, but there are several hybrids with P. caerulea as a parent that have a similar appearance.  It does produce fruit, but not very tasty.  Nice vine though.
