Lack of humidity? Too much sun exposure? Spider mites? Inspect the leaves closely for webs and tiny insects. Mites usually appear in low humidity. Also I don't keep my Garcinia seedlings in direct sun, if that's the issue.
Tell us  what soil mix is being used.
Also, how much sun is it getting? This has happened to me once. It occurred when it put out a new set of leaves. I moved it to a shadier area. If the leaf doesn't recover, you could probably just pinch it off.
Hope your seedling recovers!
Anisha

Yeah I think I burned it really badly during Santa Ana conditions. 96 degrees and 10 percent humidity. I'll check If it has any spider mites/webs under the leaves. I used a combination of peat moss, pumice, sand, charcoal, and perlite. I put it in my garage under flourescent lighting.

Thanks
