Sapodilla scion exchange, anyone?
« on: June 26, 2017, 03:20:50 PM »
Hi members,

I have Sapodilla Haysa (plenty of), and  limited Alano and Makok scions that I would like to swap or buy any other variety that I don't have.
Please PM me, thanks!

It seems we have posted similar threads within a few minutes of each other. Sorry about that. Didn't mean to steal your thunder.

I obtained a "Prolific", as a companion to my "Hasya".  It's small, so probably next year would be ideal for taking cuttings.

Hi,

Are you interested in exchanging scions outside US? I have Gonzalez, Mapino and Variegated chico varieties.

Hello Berns,
I would if there's no restriction/regulations from US (and Philippine) customs that might be in the way...: going out and coming into US. Not to mention the transportation time involved that might damage the scions.

So, it doesn't sound practical, or am I wrong??

Hi,

You're right sir.  I am not sure viability of scions of sapodilla.  Will research on sapodilla scions.
