bugs I can't identify

(1/4) > >>

gardennewbe:
I found this group of bugs this morning. The tree is a potted dwarf orange. I only found them in this one spot. A google search came up empty.

Susanne42:
baby spiders???

citrange:
To me they look like very small ants.
A bit of research suggests they may be Argentine Ants which are apparently widespread in California.
Although most images don't seem to show the greenish abdomen which yours have, I think this photo is similar:

Perhaps your citrus has scale insects that the ants are collecting honeydew from?

guadua:
They look like leaf footed bug nymphs.

TooFarNorth:
Anyone know what bug this?  I have searched to no avail.  It is crawling around on my Meyer lemon tree.  It seems to be solitary, and have only seen it twice.  It's markings look peculiar.
