Waterstressing durian

Our Durian has never bloom before. Now we don't water it but the leave are starting to hang.

It did not get rain/water for 4 weeks now and there are no flowers. When should we water it again? I don't want to kill the tree. It is 5 meter high.

How old is the tree, and is it grafted or a seedling?

It may be too young yet to flower.  Hanging leaves means it's drought stressed, so I'd water it now.

Durians only need 1-2 weeks water stress to get them to flower. Stressing them to point where leaves are wilting is dangerous as trees easily die from water stress.

Tree/plants need to be ready for induction, have developed the maturity or whatever to respond favorably.  It must be that some factor in your project is lacking, maybe the season?
I have toyed with the idea of spreading plastic on the ground to induce flowering but couldn’t get a good enough model from recording rainfall and matching it to flowering in rambutan to work out a convincing strategy   Suerte!

I water the durian just a little because next week the real cold is coming. 

My rambutan always looks sick, i give up with that one, can buy on market easy. Also durian but is not cheap, china buy all durian.
