For your comparison, I am up the coast in Orange County, my lowest low has been in the low 40s.
Mine is young too, about 6ft tall now, gave out it's first 2 fruits this Summer 2017. The mature leaves starting to drops, and easily detaches itself on a light touch.
I notice from my last season photos, the young sprouts hung on through the Winter and hardened off nicely by February.
